Female Finery Texture Replacer
This is a pluginless texture replacer for the female finery dress that came with Shivering Isles, I wasn’t too keen on the shiny leather look they had so decided to make my own, the black finery now looks black and the red and purple are much more vibrant and regal. I’ve also included in a bonus folder two muted textures for the red and purple finery as I know some people might find the bright ones too much.
This mod has been an on off work in progress for about two years or so, I’ve lost track a bit, but at last I finally got round to finishing it! chances are this will be my last mod for Morrowind but you never know with this game.
The Starstone Outpost is based in the West Gash region and includes new clothing, armour and weapons and an optional but fun quest.
At the Outpost you will find many services including:
- Imare’s Fine Tailoring – Better Bodies clothing for male and female characters.
- The Dwemer Forge – new unique weapons and two brand new armours, one for males and one for females.
- The Wizards Staff – as the Dunmer say if it’s magic you are looking for you’ve come to the right place.
- The Guar’s Nuggets Hostel – free accommodation, food and drink.
- Training – many of the npc’s offer training as well, James will also sell you lockpicks and probes.
The quest is based around the Starstone family history, what was once a thriving mining colony fell into disuse after the miners started dying under mysterious circumstances, it’s up to you to solve this puzzle and make the mine safe again. This is more of an old fashioned dungeon crawl than anything but it’s good fun and quite tough!
Due to its large size this mod only comes in 7z format so you will need an extractor such a 7zip which can be downloaded free from here
This addon mod by Wulfgar adds matching shields for the Thae and Dark Sisterhood armour plus a Sword modelled by Tommy Khajiit to go with the Thae armour.
Starstone Outpost Robe & Tunic Patch
This mod adds some alternative forearm slot versions of two of the robes and the female tunics. By using a forearm instead of an ankle slot like the original mod means they will now show up in 1st person. This patch does not change those already in the mod just adds new ones that can be bought from Elora.
Also fixes first person view for the Mourning and Wedding gowns, no more invisible arms!
Five co-ordinating outfits available from Millie Hastien in Balmora. Each outfit consists of coordinated shirt, skirt, pants, coat (light armour), gloves and flat or heeled shoes
Because I changed Millie Hastien’s services so she would also sell armour for the coats this mod should be loaded after any other mods that add items to her shop. Otherwise she will not sell them.
For Better Bodies
This mod adds six new Tight Fitting Dresses to Verara Rendo’s Clothing store in Suran
For Better Bodies
Four seasonal dresses available from Xera the Dryad, you can find her just south of the Telvanni Canton in Vivec
Winged Dryad Dresses
Requires Dryad Dresses
Dryad Dresses with animated wings textured by Redwoodtreesprite.
These are racially scripted to work with Dryads and all the non beast morrowind races.
The second optional file adds them for Dreamweaver’s BB Drow and the following races by SATAN: Abyssian, Aedric, Aurora, Red Mountain, Snow and Swamp Elves.
Alternative high res bmp textures can be downloaded from here. Please note that you will need to reassign them using a utility such as Niftexture. You will also need to delete the original dds textures or the game will still reference them.
Dryad And Morrowind Races
Requires both Dryad Dresses and the Dryad race mod
Xera’s cousin Xantha has come to visit and has brought some new robes with her specifically for Dryads, as well as two new weapons using models by Star Boi. This mod will also patch the race to the latest seamless BB models.

7z Format 9mb

Better Clothes replaces the majority of the original clothing with Better Bodies compatible models while retaining the look of the originals.
I spent about two years on and off texturing for this project and while we didn’t quite finish every item in the game and expansions i’m still very proud to have been a part of it. The screenshots show all the finished items that are replaced by this mod apart from two pairs of common shoes.
The remaining shirts have now had their original models tweaked to fit better and the new models have been segmented to work better with armour.
Big thanks to Shon and Dereko for finally getting this mod out of beta!
